                                                                  ELEPHANTS

Elephants are the biggest animals in the world. They're mammals. There are two species: the African elephant and the Asian elephant. African elephants have bigger ears than Asian elephants.
Elephants are herviborous. They have a long trunk. Elephants use it to feed and drink. They eat 225 kilos of grass, fruits and leaves and drink 190 litres of water in one day. They usually live about 50 and 70 years. Elephants can weigh 7.000 kilos. But When they are born they weigh about 120 kilos. Elephants are in danger because people hunt them to sell their two ivory tusks. They have grey skin.
